Route Description
There is no path to this old station and so visitors must make their own way across fields to the station, which is located at ND 264 353.

Heritage Information
This is an old track leading to the remains of an abandoned fishing station at Occumster. The fishing stations were where the Herring boats brought home their catch to be processed. The herring industry was huge in Scotland and gave a lot of jobs to people who had recently been cleared from their homes.
Ocumster seems to have been an important harbour at one time.
