Bridges

ScotWays was first involved with constructing a bridge in 1886, the Bedford Memorial Suspension Bridge over the River Tarff in Glen Tilt. Since then ScotWays has built, co-ordinated or contributed to a number of bridges across the Scottish path network. The level of work and costs involved in bridge construction is high and so there are many fewer bridges that have ScotWays’ name associated with them than signposts, but you can find them throughout Scotland, from Midlothian to Knoydart.
