Become A Volunteer
ScotWays completely depends on volunteers who generously give their time, energy and enthusiasm to help with most aspects of our work. Volunteers are our eyes and ears around Scotland, keeping us up to date with changes on the ground that affect outdoor access. Volunteers help to keep our records up to date and accurate. Volunteers represent ScotWays on Local Access Forums around Scotland and of course our Directors are all volunteers too. We are very grateful to the hundreds of people who have volunteered with us to date!

Getting Involved
If you have some spare time and you’d like to help ScotWays with any of these tasks, please get in touch with Neil Birch, the Access Officer responsible for volunteering. He will arrange a chat with you about what roles are currently available and how volunteering works. If you’re still keen, you can then register as a volunteer.
