Leaflet Distributor

Purpose of the role

ScotWays produces a range of leaflets about access rights and routes which are intended to educate members of the public and to raise awareness of our work. Your role is to distribute these leaflets to suitable locations in Scotland where they will be made available to members of the public, and to keep records of your distribution activities.

The activities that you may be involved in include:

• Identifying locations that might be interested in stocking our leaflets, and offering them to them via in-person visits.
• Holding stock of our leaflets.
• Reporting your distribution activities to our staff team.
• This role is home-based and can be done at any time that suits you.
• Please note, this role does not involve ‘leafleting’, i.e. direct distribution of leaflets to members of the public.

You will need:

• A desire to help inform the public about access rights and opportunities.
• A suitable computer or smartphone and internet connection.
• Competence with basic IT skills.
• Space to store a box of leaflets.

We will provide:

• A briefing in all aspects of the role, periodic support and supervision.
• Stock of leaflets.
• Reimbursement of agreed expenses.
• Opportunities to take part in other volunteering activities and projects.
