Bridges

ScotWays was first involved with constructing a bridge in 1886 – the Bedford Memorial Suspension Bridge by the Falls of Tarf in Glen Tilt. Since then ScotWays has built, co-ordinated or contributed to a number of bridges across the Scottish path network. The level of work and costs involved in bridge construction is high, so there are far fewer bridges with ScotWays’ name than our many signposts. However, these bridges are to be found throughout Scotland, from Midlothian to Knoydart.
