Lammermuirs – 10miles/16km               

Starting from the north end of Whiteadder Reservoir, roadside parking, by the B6355. Follow the Herring Road (Heritage Path) north to Lothian Edge (views of East Lothian coast and Forth estuary), through Crystal Rig wind farm. Return by Watch Law, Beltondod, the Pylon Road, Spartleton Edge and Gamelshiel Castle.

Mostly paths and wind farm tracks, but there is some rough moorland and a little roadside walking at the beginning and end of the route.

Location: the north end of Whiteadder Reservoir.
