We are pleased to hear the news that the Fife Coast & Countryside Trust have secured funding of £406,400 from the Heritage Lottery Fund in order to establish the Fife Pilgrim Way long distance walking route.

Congratulations are due to all in FCCT who have helped to secure this all important level of funding, building on a high degree of local community support for this major project and the earlier work of Scotways in mapping and costing the route.  We are therefore delighted and look forward to hearing more about the route as the FCCT progress their work on the ground.

The Fife Prilgrim’s Way route will take walkers on a historical route through Fife, from Culross to Dunfermline Abbey, all the way to St.Andrews cathedral.
