ScotWays will close for the festive season on Thursday 22 December 2022 and re-open on Wednesday 4 January 2023.

It’s a great time of year to get out and about on a wintry walk to work off the Christmas calories. You can still get advice on outdoor access rights in Scotland from our website.  Start on our Outdoor Access page and remember that you can always ask Ken.

Any orders placed through our webshop while we are closed will be processed when we reopen in January.  Remember that even before we close for Christmas, a number of planned postal strikes could delay your order reaching you.  Be sure to order soon to give yourself the best chance of receiving your goods before Christmas – we are processing orders as fast as we can.  Order your Christmas cards now as they need to reach you, before you can send them to your friends!

If you need a rights of way search before Christmas, the deadline for us to receive rights of way searches for solicitors, land managers and developers is 5 pm on Thursday 8 December 2022.  While we will do our best to get as many searches out before we close, any search request received after that date may not be completed until after we’re back at our desks on 4 January 2023.
